imagine you’re Dodo Chaplet. you see a kid get hurt so you run to a police box to call for help. inside is a vast room with a depressed old man sitting there. he starts questioning you. another man shows up to warn him the police are coming. they kidnap you in what they claim is a spaceship. the younger man insists you’re the descendant of a woman he just met in 16th century France. when you finally step outside the box you’re millions of years in the future on a giant spaceship. you immediately wipe out a bunch of people with your cold and get put on trial. this is your first day.
